We are looking for three full-time volunteers to join Habitat SPBC as AmeriCorps members. AmeriCorps members serve for one year and in return receive a living stipend, are eligible for a $5,000 educational credit, health benefits, and a free gym membership from the YMCA!

If you are a local high-school or college student, you can join or start a Campus Chapter! Campus Chapters are school-based clubs for students who are interested in partnering and building with Habitat for Humanity. Current Campus Chapters are listed below. WOMEN BUILD CREW - register today!
|

Thank you to all of the volunteers who fundraised and joined us for our 2014 Women Build! Over 50 volunteers worked on a Habitat home in our local community and fundraised over $10,000, raising more than twice our goal!
If you were not able to join us for Women Build, or did participate and want to continue your service, please join us for a monthly Women Crew build day. The build day will be the first Thursday of the month. All women over 16 yrs. old are welcome to join us, no experience required. Click hereto register for the June 5th build day.

VOLUTEERS NEEDED: Family Support Partners
|
You can give back to Habitat for Humanity and to a local family in a big way without ever lifting a hammer! Accountability partners are needed for Habitat partner families. This is a 1 - 2 year commitment where you meet or talk with your assigned family at least once a month. We provide all training and translation services, if needed. Bi-lingual, Creole and English speakers also needed. Help provide the support that a family needs as they work towards home-ownership!

Spots are still available for Camp Habitat! Each week will include a camp t-shirt, a Habitat hat, and 30 community service hours.
Camp Habitat benefits include: volunteering with a small group of like-minded students, working together for a week to develop leadership skills, learning one-on-one with Habitat Crew Leaders and getting to know the Habitat homeowners.
