New Things Happening at Genesis
2015
has been a year of change and growth for Genesis Community Health -
with more to come! The top three highlights of this year are setting
up the New Year for additional services, more care and a new site
location.
1.
Genesis'
Open House Celebration Welcomes Community: About
150 guests joined Genesis for a ribbon-cutting presentation, tours
and refreshments at its Open House and 5th Anniversary reception on
Aug. 13. The celebration marked the move of Genesis' offices to
larger offices adjacent to the Emergency Room at Bethesda Hospital
East, 2815 S. Seacrest Blvd. Supporters invited to recognize the
occasion with us were Rev. Dr. Ted Greer Jr., CEO for The Center for
Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc.; Eric Kelly, CEO for
Quantum Foundation; and Roger Kirk, FACHE, President and CEO for
Bethesda Health, Inc.
2. Genesis
Is Expanding into Boca Raton: At the Open
House, Genesis CEO DeAnna Warren announced that the clinic had been
awarded a $1,028,722 federal grant for the establishment of a new
health center site in Boca Raton. In Florida, 12 awards totaling
$7,732,835 were dispersed to serve a proposed 43,184 new patients. In
Palm Beach County, Genesis was one of only three organizations to
receive funding from the Affordable Care Act for new sites.
Come
Visit! Genesis is adjacent to the ER at Bethesda, 2815 South Seacrest
Boulevard, Boynton Beach, FL 33445.
