TEMPLE SHAAREI SHALOM WELCOMES NEW CANTOR – JUDITH BORDEN OVADIA

The Cantor Search Committee, together with Rabbi Anthony Fratello and the Board of Trustees are delighted to introduce the Temple new Cantor Judith Borden Ovadia. Cantor Ovadia is an ordained Cantor by the American Conference of Cantors (ACC) and attended the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion School of Sacred Music, where she received her Master of Sacred Music degree.

Cantor Ovadia has performed in concerts throughout the United States and Israel. An accomplished writer, author and blogger, Cantor Ovadia serves on the Communications Committee of the ACC. She taught on the faculty of the School of Sacred Music at Hebrew College in Newton Centre, Massachusetts.
