Boynton Beach Community High School seniors need our help! Prom is on May 8th, and many students are unable to attend.

Boynton Beach Community High School is a Title 1 school. Approximately eighty percent of their students receive free or reduced lunch. This senior class has been drastically more affected by poverty than any in the past. Some students have been forced into adulthood because of circumstances beyond their control; such as homelessness, lack of proper nutrition, absent or deceased parents, and inability to purchase personal items. Their need is so great that purchasing a prom ticket is out of reach,

Every year, Boynton Beach Community High School has a goal to provide memorable experiences that they would otherwise not be able to enjoy. It is their firm belief every child deserves the same opportunities no matter their socioeconomic status.

The seniors at Boynton Beach Community High School ask you to join the team by sponsoring students who deserve to have this important high school experience of attending prom. Through your 100 dollar donation, a BBCHS senior will receive entrance into the venue, a three course meal, two professional photographs, dress/tux rental, and a swag bag.

If you would like to make a tax deductible donation, please contact Shelly Fayger or Christine Bosard at 716-510-7594 or Christine.Bosard@palmbeachschools.org.

Great Give 2015 is right around the corner!

#GreatGive15 is coming up May 5th-6th!

Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast is proud to participate in Great Give Palm Beach & Martin Counties May 5-6, 2015 beginning at 5pm and ending at 5pm the following day. Every dollar donated gets us one step closer to Empowering Young People To Own Their Economic Success™ and bettering the community! Even $10 will make a difference! It only takes $20 for one student to be provided a JA Program, completely free to them!! JA Programs begin in elementary school and teach how each individual child impacts the world around them as workers and consumers. When it continues to middle and high school, the focus is on work readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Throughout JA's programs, students use information, apply basic skills, think critically and solve problems. In all programs there is a special emphasis placed on staying in school and the relationship between learning and earning.
