FORGOTTEN SOLDIERS OUTREACH, INC. AND PALM BEACH MEMORIAL PARK PARTNER FOR THE 9th ANNUAL “A DAY TO REMEMBER” 
MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE HONORING OUR VETERANS PAST AND PRESENT

Lantana, FL – Forgotten Soldiers Outreach invite the public to attend the 9th Annual “ A Day to Remember” Memorial Day Service hosted by Palm Beach Memorial Park, Honoring our veterans past and present on Monday, May 26, 2014. Service is from 11:50AM-2:00PM.

Every year we have a unique theme, and this year it is “Remember the Past, Honoring the Present and Preserving the Future”. The Master of Ceremonies will be Jim Sackett, a local veteran newscaster, and respected Media personality.

The program will also include other honorary guest speakers, including a Greeting from the Military by SSGT Maria Alexander and her husband, SFC Edward Alexander. The Keynote Speaker will be SFC Ahmand R. Brown, US Southern Command.

Other great mentions of participants will be Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard, Boynton Beach Fire Department Honor Guard, Seminole Ridge High School Army JROTC, Santaluces High School Army JROTC, Lake Worth High School Army JROTC, Boca Delray Sea Cadets, Boy Scouts of America, Troop 395, and Cub Scouts of America Pack 241, Highland Bagpipers and much more. We are also proud to include “Project 425” with their “Huey” and “Deuce and 1/2 truck” to be on display. Great photo opportunities. It’s an honor to have Project 425 participate in our Annual Event again.

There will be a POW/MIA ceremony conducted by FSO Volunteer and Former POW, Bill Arcuri. In addition, there will also be Wreath presentations by local organizations and individuals, as well as a special presentation of the Wreath of Honor, a dove release, patriotic Tribute performances by The New Young Patriots and the National Anthem by “National Recording Artist”, JD Danner. There will be complimentary food and beverages following the service.

“We welcome the public, local dignitaries, and truly encourage families to bring their children for this special “A Day to Remember” Memorial Day Service. We applaud Palm Beach Memorial Park for continuing to host this event with Forgotten Soldiers Outreach again for such an important event to acknowledge our veterans past and present, especially at such a time as this” said Lynelle Chauncey Zelnar, Executive Director and Founder of Forgotten Soldiers Outreach. Zelnar added, “I continue to be so proud that my 9 year old son, Bryson Baggett, will again be reciting the Pledge of Allegiance this year, he’s so excited that he “owns” this honor for this event!”
